Regular Board Meeting

Chair Fahey called the meeting to order and noted the meeting had been properly posted.
Minutes- October 9, 2017, MOTION (MG/RZ), all in favor, approved.
Treasurer Report-October ending balance was $402,349.72, MOTION (RZ/MG), all in favor, approved.
Announcements- Clerk Christen had attended District 4 WMCA meeting, agenda items were cyber security, emergency response and the media and legislative updates.
Budget hearing is set for November 28, 2017 at 7 PM.
Chair Fahey noted the Towns Association meeting is November 15, unknown if board members would attend.
Linda Derrickson-wrote a letter to neighbor concerning the fence issue and requested what information Chair Fahey stated he would gather. Chair Fahey informed her that the statutes were developed at a time when everyone was still pasturing cattle and every farm had perimeter fencing. WTA states the State Statute on fencing is outdated but it is still the State Statute. Linda’s first step is to send letter and then will come back to the board with the need for help if necessary.
Betty Grotophost-asked about the burning of tires or toxic materials and how to report it to the DNR.
Committee Reports- Supervisor Gundlach reported John Dohm was still working on the shelter build, the area is flagged for the build but the building has not been started.
Park Committee will meet again in March.
· Johnson Block 2017 audit engagement letter (full audit $7,750.), MOTION (MG/RZ), all in favor, approved.
· Ag conversion fees-Green County Treasurer requested that Special Assessment be assigned on four property Ag Conversion fees that had been unpaid. MOTION (RZ/MG) to approve the Special Assessments to be applied to the 2017 tax bills. All in favor, approved.
· Sunset Ridge subdivision snow plowing- the board discussed the 2017-2018 snowplowing fee for the private road, MOTION (RZ/MG)$10 fee increase for the 2017-2018 season, all in favor, approved.
· BCPL loan-is considered for the Belleville Fire Department fire truck purchase. The Clerk has the necessary papers in hand. The loan will be discussed at the December meeting.
Bills-Apply the 2017 Matching Funds to the TRIP project, apply as presented, MOTION (MG/RZ) all in favor, approved.
