REGULAR BOARD MEETING

REGULAR BOARD MEETING- JANUARY 11, 2010

Chairman Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. All board members were present as was the clerk and 4 citizens.
The December minutes were approved, motion Gundlach/ Zweifel.
Treasurer report- balance of $ 618,626.35 includes year-end tax collections of $ 537,354.83. Approved with motion Zweifel/ Gundlach.
Announcements-
Chairman Fahey informed the board that the Park Committee as the Chair had approved Deb Broge.
The Quarterly EMS meeting was to be held January 12 at 7 PM, Chairman Fahey and Supervisor Gundlach would be attending.
Chairman Fahey discussed the request by the Village for Exeter to join with Belleville to work on Boundary agreements. Chair Fahey would be attending the meeting.
Citizen Input- None.
Committee Updates-
Recycling Center-Marc Peterson informed the board that he had received a number of compliments on the snowplowing job being done by the snowplowing team.
Park Committee- Deb Broge gave an update on the playground equipment rep. Present at the January meting. Goals for 2010 would be a couple of fundraisers and the annual fall event.
New Business-
Clerk Christen presented the board with an oath of office approving Robert Buehl as the Town Weed Commissioner for 2010. Motion to approve Gundlach/ Zweifel, all ayes.
Chair Fahey then discussed the need to re-appoint the Plan Commission. He stated that he has also had interest from other residents to join the committee. He requested the Clerk mail out a letter asking the present committee if they desire to be considered for re-appointment as their current terms have expired.
Bills were then reviewed and approved. Motion Zweifel/ Gundlach.
Motion to adjourn Zweifel/ Gundlach.
Meeting adjourned at 8:38 PM.
